Where will I stay?
Lodging in local motels in Sherman and Denison is available for reasonable rates.
What will I wear?
Shorts or jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes in the summer.
How do I get there?
DFW in Dallas Ft. Worth is the closest airport, about an hour and a half away. Maps will be sent when you enroll. Driving is best to bring all your art supplies.
What about food?
Lunches are catered during the 4 day workshops, but dinner is on you. Most make sandwiches from the refrigerator or drive into Sherman, Denison or Bonham for finer dining. Let us know about special diets.
What do we do for recreation?
Although Texas is horse country, evenings are generally spent in critiques, research or working on paintings. There is a good movie theatre and decent shopping downtown. Whitewright is a historic place with many lovely old homes to drive by, also a number of horse and longhorn ranches.
