Check out these very collectible serigraphs. Here's a really different look in horse art, especially for horse loving girls' rooms. Each image is slightly different due to registration and handwork involved, thus are termed originals. There are very few of these left, and at $350 each, a real bargain. Even better, buy two for $600 and all three for $850.

The series was inspired by classic "haute ecole" movements, the highest form of horsemanship shown at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria. The artist combined the movements with authentic medieval designs in recognition of their origin as battlefield maneuvers for heavily armored cavalry.

What exactly is a serigraph? Each image was created by layering six separate screens of acrylic color onto archival Rives BFK paper. Marilyn considers this series titled "The Year of Happiness" to be some of her best printmaking, certainly the most painstaking. The first series of three were printed in the softer southwest colors, the second series in bright primary colors.
